how it happened:
was going home. there was this woman in an orange top and blue jeans.
she came up and started to talk at top speed.
at first, abby and i were thrown into a state of confusion cause we had no idea what she was talking about.
then, she flashed this white card of hers and said that she was with some organisation for low-income families.
she wanted to sell us a 2 dollar bookmark.
she claims that the she's from a low-income family and she is in university.
i shook my head, thinking that if she can afford decent clothes, bag, shoes, eyeliner and whatever else she piled on her face, she should be able to afford her degree ( she can even work part-time lar please), she don't need to sell the bookmark things.
she said it was the last card, and a dollar each from us could help to get her degree.

bought it.

abby suggested for us to stay and see if she is selling anymore bookmarks.

SHE BLOODY HELL DID.

we asked other people that she approached if she sold them any bookmarks.
they said she did ( did she say it was the last card?) no. she had a stack
